South Sea Cruises operates a fleet of modern fast catamaran ferries on their routes throughout the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands, Fiji. Conveniently based out of Port Denarau close to Nadi Airport on Fiji's mainland of Viti Levu, SSC offers daily island transfers to the most popular and spectacular tropical island resorts in western Fiji.

On board facilities include air-conditioned cabins and upper outdoor decks. The Captain's lounge upgrade is available on certain routes.

For some of the more remote island destinations, the ferry will anchor briefly in sheltered waters where smaller local craft will transfer passengers to and from shore.

Jaguar is the newest South Sea Cat, launched in 2026 and purpose-built for Fiji’s island-hopping routes. Jaguar is a 14.9 m twin-hull catamaran designed by Noah Thompson (New Zealand) and built locally in Fiji.

She carries up to 36 passengers who can enjoy the open-sided seating for panoramic views, top-deck viewing at anchor, smooth and stable rides, easy beach-landing bow access, plus onboard drinks, snacks and friendly commentary.

South Sea Cats - Lynx

Lynx is a sleek 14.9 m South Sea Cat designed by New Zealand’s Noah Thompson and built in Fiji. Launched in 2025, it carries up to 36 passengers on fast, reliable transfers between Port Denarau and the Mamanuca Islands.

Travellers enjoy open-sided seating for great views, smooth rides, beach-landing bow access, handy luggage storage, onboard drinks and snacks, and cheerful commentary from the captain and crew.
