Dunkirk ferry port, known in French as Dunkerque, is located on the northern coast of France, around 25 miles east of Calais and close to the Belgian border. Positioned just 150 km from Brussels and 300 km from Paris, it is a well-connected departure point for travellers heading to or from Belgium, the Netherlands, and northern Europe.

The port handles over 1.6 million passengers and nearly 400,000 vehicles and coaches each year, with year-round ferry services to both Dover and Rosslare.

The Dunkirk ferry terminal has toilets and a duty-free shop open daily from 8:30 to 20:00 (CET), stocking a wide range of fragrances, alcohol, cosmetics, confectionery, and toys, with savings of up to 50% compared to UK high street prices.

Parking is available directly outside the shop, making it easy to load up before boarding. A Reserve and Collect service is also available, allowing you to browse and reserve products online before your visit.

A coffee shop at the terminal serves fresh sandwiches, pastries, and hot and cold drinks. Card payments only.

Getting to the port

The port is accessible via the A16 or A25 motorway. Follow signs for "Port Rapide / Car Ferry" from either route. Dunkirk is less than 30 minutes from the Belgian border.
