Laem Sok Pier, Trat
Laem Sok pier is the main departure point for ferries to Koh Kood and Koh Mak in eastern Thailand. Located on the coastline of Trat province, approximately 30 km south of Trat town, the pier serves as the closest mainland gateway to two of Thailand's least-developed and most scenic islands.
Daily ferry services are operated by Boonsiri High Speed Ferry and Seudamgo, with sailings to Koh Kood taking approximately 1.5–2 hours and Koh Mak around 1 hour.
The pier infrastructure includes a concrete jetty, a covered passenger waiting area, ticket offices, a small café, toilets, and a car park. There is no ATM at Laem Sok pier, so visitors are advised to withdraw cash in Trat town before making the journey out.
Though the surrounding area is quiet and rural, flanked by mangroves and coastal scrub, the pier sees steady daily traffic during sailing hours.
