Tonsai Pier is the main ferry terminal on Koh Phi Phi Don, situated at the centre of Tonsai Bay in Krabi Province. It is the island's primary arrival and departure point, connecting Koh Phi Phi to Phuket, Krabi, Koh Lanta, and a number of smaller islands across the Andaman. The pier sits at the heart of Tonsai Village, the island's main settlement, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and accommodation. Koh Phi Phi is car-free, so the village is pedestrianised and the atmosphere around the pier is busy but compact.
The pier is busiest between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Tickets are not sold directly at the pier and must be purchased in Tonsai Village or online in advance. Viaferry sells ferry tickets to and from Tonsai Pier, Koh Phi Phi.

Tonsai Pier Facilities
Tonsai Pier is well served by the surrounding village. ATMs are available in the pier area, and the village has a wide choice of dining options including Thai restaurants, seafood stands, and cafes. A 7-Eleven and a range of traditional shops and souvenir stores are also within easy walking distance of the pier.
Luggage storage is available at the main pier at a fee of 50 THB per bag per day. Public toilets are available at the pier. WiFi is not available at the terminal itself, though the surrounding village has cafes and restaurants with connectivity.
Getting to Tonsai Pier, Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi is car-free, so there are no taxis or motorised road transport on the island. From most accommodation in Tonsai Village, the pier is reachable on foot in just a few minutes. For resorts and beaches further from the village, longtail boat taxis are the main option for reaching the pier.
Arrive at the pier at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.
