Klong Jilad Pier is Krabi's main ferry terminal, located approximately four kilometres from Krabi Town in Sai Thai. The pier serves as the primary departure point for ferry and speedboat services from the Krabi mainland to Koh Phi Phi and Railay Beach, making it the main gateway for travellers heading to the islands and beaches of the Andaman Sea from the Krabi area.

The terminal is a modern, air-conditioned facility with a comfortable passenger waiting area and ample parking. It is well connected to Krabi Town, Ao Nang, and Krabi International Airport by taxi, songthaew, and Grab. Services run year-round, though departures may be suspended during periods of unsafe weather. Viaferry sells ferry tickets for routes departing from Klong Jilad Pier.

Klong Jilad Pier has a modern, air-conditioned terminal building with check-in counters and a passenger waiting area. The terminal is wheelchair accessible, with accessible entrances and parking. Limited food vendors operate inside the terminal, and additional cafes and eateries are available nearby.

Parking is available at the pier at a fee of 100 THB per day. There is no luggage storage at the terminal, so travel light or make alternative arrangements before arriving at the pier. There is no overnight parking facility.

Arrive at the pier at least 30 to 45 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.


Getting to Klong Jilad Pier

The pier is located around four kilometres from Krabi Town and is reachable by taxi, songthaew, tuk-tuk, or motorcycle taxi. From Krabi Town, the journey takes 10 to 15 minutes. Taxis cost approximately 85 to 110 THB; songthaews are the cheapest option at around 15 to 20 THB. Grab is also available for the journey.

From Ao Nang, allow around 30 minutes by taxi or Grab. From Krabi International Airport, the pier is approximately 15 kilometres away and around 30 to 40 minutes by taxi or shared shuttle.

Most drivers in the area are familiar with the pier. Agree on the fare before setting off if using a taxi or tuk-tuk.
