Rassada Pier is Phuket's main ferry terminal, located on the island's east coast approximately five kilometres southeast of Phuket Town. The pier is the primary departure point for ferries and speedboats to destinations across the Andaman, including Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang, Railay Beach, Krabi Town, and the southern islands of Koh Ngai, Koh Mook, Koh Kradan, Koh Bulone, and Koh Lipe.
The terminal operates daily. Services run year-round, though frequency is reduced from May to October and some routes to smaller islands may be suspended during rough seas. Book in advance during the high season (November to April), as popular departures sell out days ahead.

Rassada Pier Facilities
Rassada Pier is equipped with the essentials for a comfortable departure. The terminal has food and beverage kiosks, comfortable waiting areas, toilets, a prayer room, and a money exchange counter. A large secured car park with 24-hour surveillance is available for travellers arriving by private vehicle, at a small daily fee. Both cars and motorcycles are accommodated near the pier entrance.
There is no ATM at the terminal itself. ATMs are available in Phuket Town, a short drive away, so withdraw cash before heading to the pier. Public WiFi is not available at the terminal; a Thai SIM card with a mobile data package is the best way to stay connected while you wait.
Getting to Rassada Pier
Rassada Pier is not located near Phuket's main beach areas, so factor in travel time when planning your departure. Taxis and tuk-tuks are available from across the island. From Phuket Town, the pier is around five kilometres away. From Phuket International Airport, allow 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic.
Arrive at the pier at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.
